For X-Mas I'm looking into getting a set of 18in Konig Zero-Ins and was wondering some things about the TPMS. Where i'm looking it has the option to buy some TPMS that work with our car and have them mounted but it says that they do not set the TPMS. So what im wondering is this:
1. Do I have to get the TPMS initialized at the dealer or will i be ok?
2. Can a Bullydog Power Pup turn off the TPMS light since i heard they do stuff with DTC's
3. Would I need to pay every time i swap my tires b/c im looking to keep my stock steelies as winter tires and use those as spring-Fall rims?
Side Note: Should i go with the 35mm or 45mm offset? theyre 8in wide btw..

Thanks in advance, and if theres anything else you thing i should know, leme hear it ;)

1. Maybe. You can either go to the dealer to activate and write the tmps, or you can buy a couple tools to activate and write the tmps ids to the ecu (but they cost money of course). The shop may be able to activate the sensors before they ship, so then all you'd need is the tool and the ids to put into the tool.
2. Not that I know of
3. Short answer: yes. You can either pay the dealer each time, or pay once up front and buy a tpms tool (tool referenced in #1) to reprogram the ecu when you swap out wheels.

Go with 35mm offset.

Tire shops should have some TPMS you can buy from em and they'll install it for you. That's what I did for mine. I got mine done
at America's Tire.

Pretty sure that would be illegal since the presence of the TPMS system is federally mandated.

TPMS sensors are a separate item from the tire or the wheel and as such don't make them any more or less expensive.

Is there a way to disable the TPMS system so the light remains off while using wheels with no sensors?
can I just kill the power to the TPMS module circuit? is the TPMS system tied into the ECU functions of the Altima?
Thanks for any input...
