Whoa! If you unplug the battery you lose all your memory et al. settings. Are you sure that is a good idea? What do you mean: "refer to the above paragraph?"M45Runner wrote:You can move them around without any problem, but the tire pressure reading will not come out until you have drive the car for 10-15 min.
In case you do have an issue, just unplug the battery for 30 sec. and reconnect them and you are ready to go - refer to the above paragraph.
Yes, the car will lose most memory if you unplug the battery - so does the previous tire location, thus it will re-learn where they are as it is after the rotation. This should be your last solution though.antzrus wrote:

Got'cha. Thanx for the help here.M45Runner wrote:

When I say "refer to the above paragraph", I meant the first paragraph from my post - After re-connect the battery, drive the car for 10-15 min.
I had my tires rotated on my 2006 M35. As specified in the manual i drove over 25mph for 10 minutes. After 10 min and 30 seconds two of the 4 registered...and within another 30 sec the other two registered. So my car did exactly what the manual said it would do.antzrus wrote:On the '06 M, when the tires are rotated do the TPMS units need to be changed out so they stay calibrated front-rear, left-right. Or can they be moved from their original position w/the whole wheel but still show up on the monitor in the right position?
