I just checked the Nissan Canada website and they don't list the TPMS anywhere as available for the Canadian version of the Versa. The Nissan USA site does.

The owner's manual available online is the same for both countries, listing the TPMS as "if so equipped". Since it's mandatory in the USA they wouldn't have used that terminology unless they were selling the car somewhere without it.

My guess would be that you don't have it.

There is no TPMS in Canada for now. Maybe 2009 Versa will get it.

The TPMS systems is a love-it or hate-it system here in the US, but it's federally mandated on all 2008 models, so whether or not you like the system, you have no choice but to get it.

Mine alerted me to a nail in the right rear tire before a trip out to Palm Springs in 115* heat. I'm glad the TPMS worked before I got a flat or shredded the tire at 70+ mph in the desert.

I don't mind it, but when I switched my wheels, I had to warranty a monitor because the threads were stripped out at the factory.
