I just bought 4 TPMS sensors For Nissan 40700-1AA0B for $130 last july.
Because my tpms light was going off sporadically.
They were nearly 9 yrs old so I thought I be proactive and replace all.
Got it installed for $40 at Discount Tire.
Merchant tire where I bought my tires and now known as NTB wanted $25 for each tire. Of course I left.
Anyways I tried chalking my tires to get best contact.
Don't know if over inflating messed up the setting cuz it started flashing again.
I had it 40 pounds front and 37 pounds rear.
Drove great for me personally. Roads are not bumpy here.
So I tried resetting like on you tube by grounding with a paperclip.
It DOES NOT work at least for a 2009 nissan rogue. Was a let down because most of the diy on the internet I usually had surprising success. Whether home or car repair.
Like throwing a 2006 square fuse on the cement, on top of cardboard of course, to get the air conditioner on a camry to work.
Big suprise it worked! Lol. Better that then resetting the tpms anyway.
Anyways, Discount Tire reset my rogue for free a few weeks ago. Friendly bunch.
I also brought my mom's is250 lexus tpms check system light turned off at discount tire around same time because I bought some tires at NTB and new sensors from them. First guy at NTB could not program them, took 3 visits.
Didn't want to go back, Discount Tire reset them for free too.
They do free tire patches too if your lucky, read their reviews, great reputation.
My tires are 37psi all around now. Trying to stay within 6 psi threshold where going below would set off tpms light. So I try not to go 25% above recommended. While giving room for temp changes.
I have performance tires and max is 50 pounds. Really loved 40 pounds in front but don't want to set off the sensors.
I have alot of exterior weight on my rogue so I like a little more pressure.
