tpms for new rims?

All things Altima Coupe.

if im going to buy new rims and tires do i have to buy new tpms for each tire or can i use the sensors from the old rims?

You can reuse them.

You can transfer the tpms sensors to your new rims. I did the same thing.

would i have to take it to the dealer to do it or can i have any shop mount my tires and put the tpms on?

he shop can do it with ease.

Like stated the shop can do it for you. Just make sure to tell them to be extremely careful with them because there have been cases on here when they are over tightend and they break.

SO i bought new rims.. and decided i was too cheap to by new TPMS for them.. I accepted that I would have warning light on the dash.. 2 weeks later its DRIVING ME NUTS... anyone have any simple ideas on making it go away.

No - "buy sensors" need respond

is there a fuse to pull.. and wire to clip.. computer program to overwrite.. etc etc...

IIRC, electrical tape is the only solution.


I got so used to it over the Winter months that I didn't even think about transferring my TPMS to my Enkei's.

make sure you get new seals for them too. If not, you're running the risk of an air leak.
