I have an 05 G35 with factory standard (17") wheels. When on a long drive at highway speeds I get an indication of a tire going down. When I check the pressures all tires are within a pound or two of each other and within specs of placarded tire pressure. If the car sits for 15 - 20 minutes without being driven the TPMS indicator on the dash goes out. The tires gain 5 - 7 psi at temperature from the set 30 psi. I had the wheel transmitters checked for weak batteries and all four check good.

Thanks!

The TPM light on the dash may come on during a long trip is the signal is not being received, this usually indicates the beginning of the end of one of your tire sensors.

Many people get duped by TPM codes, but depending on the number stored in the BCM they all have a different logic. If only one sensor is causing the light to come on I would replace that one sensor and have it reinitialized and be done with this.

I get the same and its very annoying. Right about 30 miles down the road it pops up every time.

There's no way I am going to go through the hastle of replacing these units.

Is there a way to turn this function off?

Cant turn it off. Its new law passed by DOT and NHTSA from 2 years ago, maybe 3. All cars have to have TPMS. Everyone who hates it can blame chevy for starting the idea on the older corvettes, and then blame Nissan for making it mainstream. It doesn't bother me. I've never had it act up on me, or dads pathfinder. In fact I like it. Let me know when there was a flat. Twice.

I don't believe you can directly turn it off. So you can either fix it, ignore it, or dummy the system into the off state.

Nearby Infinity dealer thought the problem was caused by recent tire change and they reregistered the sensors. There were no faults identified. After the next long trip I'll let you know if this solved the problem.

So you got your infinity at an infinity dealer? I've only seen infiniti dealers around here...

Well, I guess I'm not the only one. I bought mine about a month and a half ago and get the same warning light from the right rear sensor. I plan on buying new staggered wheels/tires as soon as these tires wear out so I'll probably have the batteries replaced when they put them on the new wheels.

I had one of mine go bad, with similar symptoms to the OP. The dealership replaced it under warranty

Dealer reoriented senders with BCM and it no longer causes this problem. Dealer did it at no charge which was a nice surprise.

Learned how to spell Infiniti too--have to use the brain and not the memory in the fingers while typing.

Thankx!

Great! Now just fix it in your profile.
