Firestone was able to reprogram one of my sensors fairly easily after I had one installed there.IlyaKol wrote:They can only be reprogrammed by Infiniti.
TireRack used to say that they would just work. I think a few M owners who can't follow directions / drive 10 minutes over 25mph (or whatever it is), that or else a few M owners with buggy M's that really won't automatically detect them (if those really exist) told them othrewise. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if even the aftermarket ones just worked. If the aftermarket or OEM ones didn't just work, YMMV at tire shops, the Big O that rotates mine tries to program with their computer every time and fails every time (thankfully they do work automatically).IlyaKol wrote:I stand corrected. That was about what I paid.TDot wrote:How much did they charge? Infiniti is telling me $50 for all four.
If you completely replace them...you need to program to your cars computer as they are on a certain frequency. Brand new ones wont 'just work' as far as I know. OEM ones that have been set to your car, after moving to new wheels or tires, should indeed just work after 10 minutes of 50mph driving or whatever.The00Dustin wrote:TireRack used to say that they would just work.
