Question for you guys/gals with aftermarket wheels. Did you install aftermarket sensors in the new wheels or just re-installed the OEM sensors in the new wheels, or just said heck with it and your light remains on? :gotme

i think it just depends on the person bob from versa speed left his out when he got wheels some people just get it done at the shop when they go get the wheels installed its just personal preferance i guess. when i got my wheels from discount tire i got the tpms rebuild package with the wheels so i just had them installed

Yes - There was just a charge to drill the wheels to accommodate the sensors.

huh? can you elaborate please? are you saying the wheels needed to be drilled bigger for the sensors?

Yes - Not a big hole - the MB brand wheels that I bought did not have the hole to install the sensors, so they drilled one in each wheel and installed the sensors. I think that it was like 20 bucks.

hmmm, I thought the tpms`s always bolted thru the valve stem hole...thanks for the info...
I`m guessing that this model MB wheel was not tpms compatible until you made it that way...

I swapped my TPMS from my steelies to my Sentra wheels. They weren't made for TPMS, but they fit fine.
