TP monitors

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Hi:

I'm a new owner of a '14 Q60S convertible. My tire pressure monitor came on a few days ago. I just checked all tires and pressures appear normal. We are in the midst of a BRUTAL cold spell..-25C....does anyone know if Infiniti/Nissan TP systems are "flaky" when its this cold ??

Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Could simply be a battery issue within the TPMS where one needs replacement. I've not had any issues with negative teens with mine.

A tire shop should easily be able to tell which one is having the problem

Thanks...the temps went up and the monitors shut off on their own...probably frozen...I subsequently did some TP research and it appears these things do go wonky in very cold weather...Thanks for the response (I can relax now lol)
