Just a heads up, if you own a Tacoma, or know anyone who does, Toyota has issued a recall for 790,000 of them, model years 2005-2011.
The issue is with the leaf springs. Corrosion can cause them to break and there is a risk of fuel tank rupture - fire - death.
Be sure to share this your friends and family.

Oh, boy! More rust issues on Toyota trucks!

One more reason to buy a Frontier instead.

I'm so excited that Fall is finally here. Now we can start driving the classics as dailies. :dblthumb:

Toyota's consistent rust issues in their trucks and body-on-frame SUV's is why I wouldn't even consider buying one. You can't find one around here that hasn't begun to rust for a reasonable price at all.

I know the R50 Pathfinder/QX4 had their issues with the strut towers rusting out, but I honestly have never had a Nissan with those kind of rust issues in my life. I would buy a Pathy or a Frontier any day of the week over a Toyota.

It would be mighty hard to persuade me to part with it.

Anything is for sale for the right price though ;)
