No, it's not a Nissan, but with 2.77 million of these things on the road, you're bound to know someone who drives one. Helps us spread the word, especially to those who may have bought theirs used and Toyota doesn't have updated owner information. There are actually two separate recalls. One is for the gear box and the other is for the water pump. Toyota is supposed to be sending out letters to owners in December

You know...your comment led to a realization:

I honestly don't know ANYONE who drives a (or owns) Prius. I feel rather proud.

I know two guys who actually do own one and its surprising because they are both very smart and intelligent people. Of course their wives drive them so.....

I never see first gen Prius's anymore. A coworker has a later model one with 220k miles on it and has never ever changed the brakes, just a resurface but still the same factory pads.

Its a great little car, I'd never in a million years buy one but it has outlasted its estimated useful life and hasnt asked for a damn thing.

No, it's a gaggle. A group of Priuses is a gaggle. A group of Corollas is a clowder. A group of Tundras is a congress and a group of Supras is a murder.
