:help A couple of odd things happened while towing with my new QX56 so I'd like to know if it's unique to this truck. The Engine Oil Pressure Light went to 4 bars a few times when pulling up a long incline, say 6% grade for 2 miles. It dropped back to 3 bars most of the trip and went to 2 bars at stop lights. Also, the Transmission Fluid Temperature Gauge went to 2 bars quite often under the same conditions but always went down to 1 after a mile of level or downgrade driving. The vehicle had 2,000 miles before towing our 4,500 pound travel trailer. The vehicle pulls perfectly and I'm very pleased overall. Gas consumption is fine, around 10+ over hilly Upstate New York State highways and as much as 12 when the going is level. Like to know before heading to some bigger hills, the Smokey Mountains next month. Ken

I think he meant did you post your question in Infiniti Online Mechanic, but if you give it some time, I'm sure Scott NISITECH will see and chime in with some applicable Armada info.

obviously you have the digital dash, didnt know the QX had that, cool!! but basically the Armada does the same thing, its pretty common for the fluid temp to rise a bit when putting the engine and trans under such a load. Thats why you have the temp gauge for the trans fluid so you can be sure not to over heat the transmission when pulling a trailer. You'll be fine like that just keep an eye on Trans temp when pulling if it gets up to the top bar you should probably pull to the side for a couple mins let it idle to allow it to cool a bit. You likely wont have to but just keep it in mind.
