Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around in quite awhile, going through some hard times (mainly splitting up with my live-in girlfriend and her in the process of trying to move back to PA).

So out of curiosity do you think a 2008 CVT Versa could tow a UHaul trailer big enough to fit a gas grill in? It's one of those grills with the built-in refrigerators, rotisseries, etc. so I really don't want to have to sell it. Also, does anyone know off hand what it'd cost for the hitch and trailer? I'll call when the time gets closer, but just thought someone might know offhand.

This is if I end up leaving Atlanta completely and would want to basically sell any furniture that wouldn't fit in the Versa and start fresh wherever I moved to. If I end up doing a local move I'll just rent a UHaul and take everything in one trip and save the wear on the Versa.

A U-Haul hitch normally runs around $300 from what I remember.
The trailers one-way...especially the small size you need isn't that expensive.

The US 2009 owner's manual says "Do not tow a trailer with your vehicle." In other countries this restriction does not apply to the Tiida. My personal belief is the restriction is directed to the automatic transmissions.

That is not good news at all. It's going to be quite the hassle moving to PA if the opportunity arises.
