towing question for 1990 Hardbody Nissan truck

1. Can a '90's model Nissan safely tow a vehicle as large as a 2002 Honda CRV?
2. Can this truck safely tow a CRV with a tow bar set up?
3. Can this truck safely tow a CRV with a tow dolly set up?

The trip would be about a 200 mile trip and I am just weighing my options. CRV is automatic and I have used a tow dolly set up behind a U-Haul truck to transport this CRV from Texas to PA and back. I have not used this set up on the Nissan truck to pull anything though. Don't want to overtax the truck in any manner in the process.

Max towing is 1000 lbs without trailer brakes. 2000 lbs with brakes.

Years ago I bought a 86.5 4cyl for my first new car. I used it one time to tow 68 camaro fron east T.N. to florida with tow dolly. Then towed 79 camaro back to T.N.. I would not recommend doing it because it did not want to stop and it seemed I never lifted off of the gas pedal.

Thanks for the info and I have ruled out going the tow bar and tow dolly route with this truck. Too many miles on the engine and not enough personal use on it to know how it would react and feel comfortable with it. I don't need the CRV shoved up my tail pipe, so I'll go another route with it. Hoping to get a small trailer in the future to use with my sidecar rig and this truck though, so may have additional questions when that time comes. Again, thanks for the info.
