I could use some help on setting up my truck to tow my new camper. Let me list what I have and what I'm looking to do, and please let me know what you think.

2021 Nissan Frontier crew cab 4x4 SV 5' bed Max tow 650/6250lbs
3280 lbs 22' long travel camper with 486 tongue weight

To help with the tongue weight, I'm thinking of adding a WD hitch
Might add airbags to the rear of the truck
Don't know if I need to add a rear sway bar to the truck.

If you think a WD hitch is something I should do, can you recommend a brand? $1000 range. I have watched a lot of videos. But the one thing that no one talks about, is at what weight do you need to start adding things to help with towing?
Thanks in advance.

Check with e-trailer or a RV dealer. Depending on use make sure you have decent transmission cooler.

Thanks for that info I didn’t even think of the transmission. After talking to a few people I decided on just installing the WD hitch and then airbags if needed.
