I have a 2008 Pathfinder with the v 6. I am looking online at a 19 ft travel trailer that is supposed to be light weight. I do not know the weight of the trailer. I do know the towing capacity for the Pathfinder. My question is do any of you tow a travel trailer with the 2005-2012 year models? If so what length trailer and weight and how well do the Pathfinders tow them? Thank you.

Since nobody with direct PF experience responded I'll respond from my experience towing with F150's and, more recently my Rubicon Unlimited (our '03 Pathfinder doesn't have a hitch). Your '08 is rated for 6k lbs and you need to know the weight of the trailer to calculate the GVWR (trailer) and the GCVWR which is the weight of the trailer (full of everything) and your PF (also full of everything). From my experience, to be safe, you really want to be well below these ratings. Towing with my Rubicon, rated at 3500 lbs, I kept it under 2500 lbs (a medium pop-up). Similar with the F150's I had, keeping it at least 30% below rating. The tongue weight should be 10-15% of the trailer rate. A load equalizing hitch is nice to have also, especially if you are closer to GVWR. 19 ft should be fine, but not sure if/what the max length should be.

The camper weighs a little under 3000lbs. It is considered an ultra light. Did not know the weight at first because I didn't know which camper I was going to buy. I have a factory hitch connection. Just worry above the independent rear suspension. The trailer dragging it down.

Thanks
