I’m a British National working in Saudi where I drive a 2006 Infinity FX35. I have a requirement to fit a tow bar but when I asked the dealer to fit one he stated, after a long explanation to him of what it actually was, they weren't available in Saudi Arabia. I have searched the internet and infinity tow bars are readily available in America but in Europe they don't even know what Infinity is! The question is will a tow bar designed for a Nissan (which are available in Europe) fit the infinity FX 35 and if so which one? I have searched your site and the rest of the internet and cannot find an answer. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

We don't recommend towing since these cars were never designed for it and it just takes years off the transmission life.

The other problem is the rear suspension is on a subframe with silcone filled rubber bushings. These will wear out quickly.

If you do "succeed" in towing with your FX, you most definitely will want to add an auxiliary ATF cooler. Even if you don't tow, where you are it would be a good idea.

No Nissan vehicles are configured like the FX platform.

Oh, and check the rar of your vehicle. Probably no letter y evident.
