tow/recovery hook

I just picked up a 2016 Rogue last week. While trying to "learn" the car I noticed there is no tow hook with the jacking tools. One came with the Volvo the Rogue replaced. Was wondering if it's supposed to be there?

Technically, yes it should be there. Do you need it? Not really. You just bought the car, so call the dealership and tell them it's missing and you want it. They can swipe one from another vehicle on the lot to give to you. Tow hooks go missing all the time.
