Tow hook relocation on the aftermarket bumpers?

I just happened to notice that the Stillen and Fox Marketing bumpers don't have the square for the tow hook... how do you tow it?

do you see reason to use the tow hook instead of having your car towed by a tow truck if you need a tow? i wouldn't use the tow hook myself, but that's just me.

not to mention most of our cars dont even have the hook to screw in.

I've never used the tow hook in any of my cars. Also, like a few others here, my coupe didn't even come with the bloody hook (but they still felt the need to put a hole in my bumper anyway........ )

My sedan came with the hook. Think i could get anything for it on e-bay?

The towhook is really only there if you were to total and/or drive your car off the road into a ditch so a truck could winch out the remaining carcass of a car.

Anyone planning on this?

I used the tow-hook on my audi the day the engine seized from oil sludge. Spent a good while that night winching it up on the car trailer. Dropped it off trailer and all at the dealer and made it their problem. Four weeks of it being in the shop Audi of America paid to replace the entire engine and turbo (practically everything except the transmission). Still only kept the car a year after all that.

I dunno once you'd actually had to use a tow-hook for a good reason, its nice to have the option.
