Hey all. I am wondering if you have any pictures of an Altima with a tow hitch. My wife and I take a lot of trips and with out daughter getting older we seem to have to pack more and more. I don't want to think about trading the car in for an SUV if I don't have to. We both love the Altima, it's been very good to us. My wife is worried that it would look "ghetto," so pictures would be great. If not, if you have any feed back regarding them that would be helpful as well. With the car sitting so low, I was thinking that they would need to cut through some of the bumper to put the hitch on.

Looking forward to your responses, thanks a lot !

I would not tow a single thing with your car!

You have a rear subframe with bushings I am not sure if they are silicone filled or not. But towing will destroy them much much faster than not towing. Best bet is to buy another FULL FRAME vehicle for towing as the SUV is now dead and made in either Front Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive.

And in my opinion a tow bar on a car looks ghetto.

the best thing to do would be to get the SUV. you can definitely attach a hidden hitch to the altima, but you still shouldn't put a heavy load on it. and even if you tow anything, you probably shouldn't go over 55mph. This image is from Silly_Rabbit on the other forum:

As for it looking ghetto, i don't think it looks HORRIBLE, but it definitely doesn't look good
