I ordered the Sharp LQ070Y5DG36 from AliExpress. It came in yesterday and I installed it today. Was a direct replacement and works the same as the original equipment.
It was pretty straighforward, but I had to look at the Bose unit for a couple minutes to figure out how to get it opened. Here is a few pics of getting the touchscreen out of the head unit.
Steps:
1. Remove the (4) T8 screws in the corner of the head unit. The face plate will then seperate from the unit.
2. Now with the faceplate off, remove the (18) T4 Torx screws from the back of the face plate and the 3 twist lock pieces.
3. With the metal plate removed, next remove the main PCB by removing the (3) T4 bolts and unclip the three ribbon cables. The cables are released by gently lifting up the clamp that holds the cable down.
4. Now remove the main PCB and also the touchscreen behind it. The new touchscreen does not come with the metal mounting bracket, so you have to remove it from the old screen and place it on the new screen. There are three places that have double-side tape on it. I had to heat it with a heat gun to get it to turn loose without causing any damage to the metal bracket.
5. Going back together, I used 3M #300LSE double sided tape. You can use whatever you have, but it should not be any thicker than the original tape.
6. Before placing touchscreen into frame, be sure to remove the protective film. The reassembly should be the reverse of the previous steps.
7. Head unit back in dash. Works perfectly.
