Touched MAF now revs reading is nuts

I dismounted the maf with its plastic tuve all the way to the entrance to the Throttle, checked the Radiator some hoses had to be disconnected, then assembles everything just fine

car is idling ok, neat, weird vibrating sound below the car, like something touching, scrapping with another metal, someone said might be the transmission and the pressure plate or something

now the problem is the REVS reading is jumping, idle keeps normal but the reading is wrong on the gauge, it was fine before i touched everything, im idling like 800 rpms, and the gauge is 0 500 200 700 like that jumping,

when cruising it tried to keep up, but still jumping around, the car ran great and i stopped the gauge now doesnt even moves, stays in 0 and SOMETIMES every 5 secs he kindda jumps to 200 and puff down again

MAF right??? what can i check?

MAF doesn't have anything to do with the tach... The fact that you messed with the maf at the same time is coincidence.

Thx just needed to confirm the maf not involved,

well the engine is working great, but the tach jumping around is really getting on my nerves... im gonna check all plugs and stuff for damage or burnt, any tips where i might start checking? ill just check around everything i touched
