Anybody ever used this stuff? How well does it match? As many of you know, I have this blond spot of Bondo to deal with (not the greatest pic - it overlaps to the other side of the quarter panel somewhat):

Think I should try my luck with some aerosol touch up paint, a lot of masking tape and plastic, and a can or ten of clear coat instead of shelling out a couple hundred to have this painted by some shop? Then again, maybe I should get a quote from some other body shops first.

Ouch, that bumper looks annihilated, but get quotes from other body shops, or if you know what maaco is, people say they do subpar work but thats if you dont prep it.

Id say prep it yourself and everything, take it off the car take it to them and you could probably get it done for like $100. People who prepped their cars before taking it there (as ive read) say that its a good paintjob for the money

Bumpers and fender flares have been repainted, don't worry about them. They look great, I've just been lazy about washing my car and taking some nice pictures for you guys.

MAACO did the bondo job. They want $200something for painting it. :|

I have never used this product -- but I have used Tower Paint for color matched paint ......with good results.

........used it to paint small parts -- not body panels. It is hard to get proper coverage on a large panel with a spray can.

I did recently paint both outside mirrors on an older Lexus using the matched spray paint that Pep Boys sells -- I was surprised how well it came out. The match was very good -- its a common Toyota silver.

I got mine from Automotivetouchup.com. PERFECT match, save for the obvious difference due to sun damage and age--but the color perfectly matched. In a bit more time I think it will have fully blended in. Pics on my thread.
