I bought a $300 dohc 240sx and i'm a little stumped, it came with the transmission out and a auto pilot bearing. i changed the pilot to a 5 speed pilot bearing and put every thing back together, my problem is that i have no pressure in the clutch pedal. the car drives fine and shifts fine but the pedal never comes up. i've changed the master cylinder and the slave cylinder both are brand new. ive had it and out a couple times and still no difference please help the car needs to be done within the next two weeks because im moving to kentucky thanks in advance

You posted a link of someone that has the same issue... lol. How in the world is tellin him that other people have had the same issue gonna fix his??? :tisk:

Anyways, this happened to me with my swap. First things first, have you played with the clutch adjustment at all? If you look you'll find the push rod that compresses the piston assembly connect to the pedal. Is that adjusted properly to place the pedal farther away from the firewall?

If you've tried that, have someone bleed from the slave once more, then also at the clutch master cylinder itself. Sometimes a small pocket of air gets stuck close to the top. That should fix it.

Also whether or not you have the clutch damper loop line still in makes a fairly large difference. Lets say the difference of bleeding out the system 3-5x being necessary, to no loop = one bleed, three min. max. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
