Okay I was driving on route 463 philly suburbs, and I was coming up on a red-light, so I slows down, then the light turns green. My side of the road has 5 lanes, 3 straight, 2 turn both ways. I get into a empty staight lane and cruise on through the light, or so I thought, I cruised straight into a stupid for Taurus. He tried to turn, even though we had the right-away, he was facing the opposite direction. I hit the Taurus at about 35mph, I did not even hit the brakes. I passed out for a couple of counts, then came around. If I did not have my seatbelt on, I woulda flew out the window, and since I did not have my parachute on, it would have been a bad landing, I probably would have died. I got out, by car was a wreck, I was so heart-broken. I had the car for a grand total of 6 days, and I loved it. I other guy was okay, I hit his passenger side door. He was drinking I think, because the pigs must have gave him a breath test like 19 times! His insurance will pay for my car, and I will probably sell my 93 integra to get a really nice s13, or s14. I cant decide to save my life. If anybody in the philly area,Nj, or whatever has a twin-cam 5 speed for sale hit me up at [email protected]or 267-625-4915Thanx Steve.

Oh yeah, this is my 3rd totaled car and I am only 19.

Wear a seat-belt, even if its not that cool. Imagine how you will feel when your dead, and everybodys at you funeral, becausse you flew out you window, and his a stationary object.

Really.... I'm hoping that the list of people who have totalled their cars is done at this point!

Stupid drivers are all over the place though.

I know how you feel, losing a car, I totaled my S13 when it reached 112K I felt horribly sick. I was run off the freeway interchange in heavy rain at night by a large Safeway truck that didn't check the other lane before merging, luckily their was an exit, so I wasn't sandwiched between the Jersey barrier and the truck. We exited at 60mph started slidding, first to the left, then to the right, as I tried to correct the slide. We hit the wall with the right side of the front bumper and were slingshot around and hit the rear bumper same side then stopped facing the right direction, engine still running. The truck didn't stop! neither me or my wife were injurred, SEATBELTS SAVED OUR LIVES! I fought for a year trying to get my claim paid, they never wrote me a check, I sold it to somebody who needed transportation. It still ran and drove just fine. It just hurt to see somebody drive the car I spent nights and weekends on for 3 years, as just point A/B transportation ride. It hurt, but I've had my S14 now for three years and I think I like it just as much. I wish I could have both of them though. Ihope you find one in the trim you're looking for. It took me 9 months to find a S14 in the condition and options I was looking for.

Yeah I know, I just feel for you. Hardly got to know the car and Smash! Glad you are o.k. It doesn't matter what you drive, you are intelligent enough to know 240's are hot. So anyway, sorry about your Integra, and hope you find a 240 quickly.

Yeah, thats does suck... Whenever I get into a car I always put on a seat belt without even thinkin about it. I always make sure who ever else in the car is wearin one too... They are there for a reason.

Yeah me to. I wont even go foward if everyone dosent have a belt on, because I feel responsible for their lives also, and I wanna do the best I can to make them safe.

We should have a sticky or dedicated thread to those who crash their cars and wanna part them out. I could use a couple things form a bashed up car. Of course it doesnt really work well when the insurance company takes it.
