totaled my 240

so i was on my way to school this morning going about 70 on the highway(70 is the speed limit) when some bastard in a blue pos car cuts right in front of me doing about 50, so i slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him and it was all over, my car started swerving crazy from left to right and all of a sudden i crossed all 4 lanes of the highway right into the guardrail. front end is all smashed up really bad and now my car is in my driveway with my front bumper on top of my new triangle hood. i dont know how nobody hit me when i was crossing all 4 lanes because the highway was busy but i didnt hit anybody either so im feeling lucky even though my precious 240 is dead. to make it even worse though the bastard that cut me off didnt pull over so im screwed and now im going to have to drive my poopy honda. im going to miss my 240 but hopefully ill get a new one this summer . i think im gonna cry now.

is it just the front end that's screwed up? is the engine still in running condition? If so you could always get a body shop to pull the front end back out and go silvia front end that's what I'm doing

thanks, the front end is bad and the car wont start. i hit the rail going about 40 so i dont even want to attempt getting it fixed oh well. im depressed now but im determined to get an s14 by the end of this summer. ill still be around here cuz i hate going to the honda forums.

engine wont start? do the whole conversion, sr20, and silvia front end, that is if insurance would pay for it, or some of it.

Tough luck bro. The last wreck I was in happened in a somewhat similar circumstance. A minivan switched lanes right in front of me as traffic was stopping, effectively taking away my cushion. I slammed on the brakes, swerved around the idiot who cut me off, bounced off the center divider, and skidded across five lanes of busy traffic. I too wonder how I got to the opposite shoulder without running into anyone else. And like in your situation, the person who cut me off in the first place was no where to be seen.

Hopefully some of the street racers will read this post, and realize that dangerous traffic situations often materialize out of no where when you're driving "safely". Toss in the dynamics of racing (on the edge of handling and braking), and it's even harder to respond to other people's stupidity.

Ouch that sucks, question is who got the ticket? I know by alot of laws you should of got the ticket cause you rearended him(gay *** law, especially in this situation). Or did he get the ticket for his aggressive and endangering driving?

I did that... to a lexus... it turns out it was a cop, so its automatically my fault, and i got no money from it. the only thing i got was a bad bend in my front end.
