Moral of the story: Do the smart thing and shell out the extra $ for VDC and winter tires (instead of the craptastic OEM Bridgestone Turanza EL400) if your going to drive your coupe in the snow.

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry to see this. Thank God you are here to post about it though. Wow, what a loss of a beautiful car. I agree, the VDC is a nice touch. Man, I am so sorry about your car.

Exactly what I was thinking! IDK, I don't believe this car is totalled. The damage is pretty confined, as least from these pics.

yeah I was going to say first those are the stock tires, I know he has 19" ame wheels, vdc is on that car, and his trunk button is next to the key fob in that pic. And mchedaddi has the tech package, that car did not as well not being manual.

I almost died too when i thought it was your car, but closer look saw the CVT shifter and knew you were in the clear. Still sucks for whoevers it was.

However, i volunteer to acquire this coupe, bandaide the front end together, and invest some money and see what kind of boost the CVT will take!!!

When I saw the CVT, I knew it wasn't his.

Not sure about VDC but Snow Tires makes a vast difference, my sister has the 2.5S and decided not to buy it this year and regrets it.
