Didnt care to revive the old WI thread, so decided to start a new one.

So who thinks the recall is going to go through? I dont. I imagine the same mechanics that go into unionization are going into this petition. You get harassment, intimidation, and peer/family pressure involved which cause signatures on petitions. Once the secret ballot hits, its usually a different story.

Theory: IF the recall election is a bust, the next move will be to authorize recalls based on petition turnout only. Kinda like an electorate card check.

I'm sure, in writing "go through," that you mean "will be successful." I don't know; I haven't seen many polls recently. I do know that the right-stripping caused not an insignificant uproar, probably mostly because it came out of the blue.

They DID recall some senators on that secret ballot remember....
