Someone please look at this and tell me if you've heard of it or have even tried it. http://www.thegassecret.net/new_order.html

It looks like B.S. to me, but I suppose it's possible. Is it?

i want to believe that, but if it was real then it would be on the news or all gas stations would be supplying it. similar to that gas saver piece on ebay, if it was that well at saving gas and only costs a couple bucks, you would think that Nissan would put it in all their cars.

This appears to be a scam operator. There actually is an Ethos FR product, distributed by Ethos Environmental out of San Diego, CA. The label on those Canadian bottles is not the same as the bottles distributed by Ethos Environmental.

Ethos Environmental is traded on the stock market: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=etev.ob

The company's website is here:http://www.ethosfr.com/index.html

I would avoid that Canadian company and try to deal direct with the manufacturer if you want to try the product. For all we know, that guy in Canada is selling bottled water.

Here's some fresh news about the validity of the San Diego product.

I'm not enough of a believer to buy it but it looks like it does have some merit.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't about to buy it , but was curious. I don't like putting any additives in my car at all. An occaisional fuel cleaner is about it.

My family owns a shell station with a emissions testing shop and we have sold some similar to that. Not to increase gas mileage but to help pass emissions test. The product was actually called the emissions passer. It surprisingly worked, if your car was borderline failing on smog test and your car was 95 model year or older, put it in your tank and redo the test and wala, pass. Thought it was completly bogus we tried it a few time for free on some customers and it worked. The supplier who sold it to us is no longer around and i don't the legality of it either. Just thought i'd share.

This is a complete scam. Please read about it here:

I wrote about it at bizop.ca, which was mentioned earlier in this thread.

So... $16 to treat 10 gallons? So you'll be paying and extra $1.60 per gallon when refueling. So you've added 40% to the price of the gas. So if my math is right, you need a 30% improovement in economy to break even. That's some serious magic juice.

Snake oil. Pure and simple. You'll get better results by using that cheap "Heet" additive or some similar alcohol additive.

I read an article in a magazine where someone wrote in and asked about some gas saving product. Here's the thing, if there really was something you could attach to your car or an additive that you could put in that really saved you money or improved your gas mileage Every car manufacturer in the world would install them on their cars, or every gas station would add it to their gas and advertise the heck out of it. Seeing as that isn't the case, then you know it's a scam.
