Torsion bar adjustment on Frontier.

Hey guys, I need some help with this and I figure this is the place to ask. I just bought a 2003 Nissan Frontier S/C Desert Runner (used) and want to lift it for a little more clearance. Instead of buying a lift kit for the sake of saving money for car payments and insurance (still in highschool), I would like just a couple more inches. I read about adjusting the torsion bar and have tried doing research but have not found anything online for Frontiers. I am just now getting into off roading and do not have the guts to go to ORW and ask what the hell to do. Any tips, pictures, or links to great tutorials would be GREATLY appreciated.
