Reminds me a time we went egging on Halloween. Never let a lefty with horrible aim ride shotgun. I took 3 days to find and clean all the egg from the inside of my friends Accord...
That reminds me of the pack of black cats I set off in my friends car long ago. Didn't quite make it out the window and I wasn't losing fingers over it. To be a teen again.I've fortunately never puked or had anyone puke in one of my cars, I couldn't imagine trying to get it all out, I still have broken glass in my door panels.

If Papasmurf can't get the smell out, I vote Torry buys him a new car or replaces the Prelude with another one.

Torry bought me a strawberry air freshener (actually, now that I think about it, I bought it).So when I get in my car, it reeks like strawberry hurl. I found a couple chunks between the passenger door and B pillar today. It was the first time I had opened that door since Torry cleaned it. This afternoon I was faced with a choice: Either REALLY clean the Prelude, or fix the 240, and drive that.

...look for a thread in 240 gen about me fixing the 240

So after not driving the car for a few days, I opened the door, and the stench was unbearable. I broke down and took off the door panel, which was a huge PITA.I found minimal chunkage actually on the door, but when lifting the door panel off (by grabbing it from the bottom), I put my hand in something very slimey....

Once the panel was off, I got to cleaning.Chunkage in a little gap areaand the reason why my window got dirty with hurl every time I put it down and up:

After cleaning that, I put everything back together, fought the mosquitos, and cleaned the roof (which was definitely dirty), as well as some more on the B-pillar, and allll the way back to the rear glass. I'm probably going to re-shampoo the carpets, and pick up some febreeze.

Oh, and I through out the strawberry air freshener because I now associate nasty vomit smell with strawberries.

Gross. You should write an article for successfully removing vomit stench from your automobile.

Yeah, some moron didn't even warn me when I was giving everyone a ride home from the bar in my gf's car and at interstate speed puked out the back window from right behind the passenger seat..........didn't slide to the rear of the window..........it hit the wind and pretty much all came back inside.....I had to tell her over the phone since she was in the car ahead of us. Good for him we got home later then them or she would have killed him. He kept trying to help me clean it but I kept telling him sh*t happens and not to worry about it.....well that and I knew I was sober and that it needed to be cleaned before it dried or sat all night in that car so the sun could make it more interesting the next day. What a damn mess...........atleast the smell is gone.

Arrgghhh...!!! Lots of febreeze and a few cans of Squash placed strategically might help with the stench. At least is not summer, the smell of any leftover residue amplifies under hot conditions....

Surprised Torry did not earn a new nickname that day, like "Ralph" or the "Vomiteer" or "Chumster"...

My wife, bless her heart, did NOT open the window, did NOT offer any sort of a warning. She just blaaaarghed all over the dash and the window and the carpet. She denies it, but I told her she looked quite satisfied with herself.

She did apologize, but did not clean it up. Said it would make her sick.

Heck, any insurance assessor with an ounce of humanity should total the car for you after taking just one whiff.

It must be a Halloween thing because I had a costume party a couple weeks ago and everything was fun and fine except for Torry who got himself sloppy drunk and weirded out my female friends. After convincing him it was time to sleep, I thought I left him peacefully on the couch... the next morning I woke to my friend standing in my door way saying, "Abby, someone vomited all over your basement floor." Sure enough, laying next to his grim reaper costume, a pool of puke covered the floor. Not two feet from a garbage bag, too. I'm not sure how he managed to make it from his spot on the couch in my living room all the way down the stairs to the basement to make such a mess, but I sure enjoyed finding and cleaning that up. I wish I had the sense that James did to make him clean it up himself!

I'm really surprised you didn't make me. I mean, it was my mess and I felt horrible that I wasn't the one that cleaned it. But like I told you...you get a free vomiting in my house now. And sorry about weirding anyone out. I really don't remember anything. Damn Halloween. Gettin' the best of me. :gotme

LOL I don't really want/need a free vomit... I can hold my alcohol! ;)

But seriously, it was done and over with in a matter of a half hour so no worries... I just won't ever let you live it down.

Torry, I never gave you a free vomit pass in my car, and yet you took one anyway.

Hey Abs- you know who's never puked in your basement? Me. :dblthumb:
