Ok, I know there are specified torque ratings for the O2 housing and the turbo, both obviously important. My question is, how the hell do you torque them? There's NO way to get a torque wrench on most of those nuts, is there a way to do it with a wrench or something? I'm going to be putting my engine in the car really soon and I need to figure this out.

Thanks in advance,Brian

I had the hood off and used a 1/2" socket wrench to tightenthe top ones. The bottom ones (espically the right one when looking up at the housing, w/ your feet out the front of the car) can only be gotten to with a box end wrench. I just used a metal tube (breaker bar) on the end of the wrench and tightened it. Takes time and is not precise, but ahs held up for the last two weeks for me;)

Well, I currently have the engine out of the car, so reaching it isn't a problem. What about those little wrench heads that fit onto a socket driver? I would imagine I'd have to set the torque a little lower because the actual amount would be off slightly, but would that do the trick? A few of them I can barely get tightened all that much though, specifically the one that's under where the O2 housing bends down.

Torque down the ones you can get to w/ a socket and note how much force you are pushing with and how far your hand is from the nut. Then grab a standard wrench with your hand at the same distance to the nut and torque it down until it feels about the same.

I just tightened it as much as I can, without breaking it using a regular open end wrench.

Plus I used some loc-tite on them, as I had one that kept working itself loose. Damn exhaust bolts....
