torquing flywheel/crankshaft

fsm says 105-112 ftlbs

my wrench only goes up to 100

if i used blue threadlocker am i safe?

you should use lock tite anyways. But what I would do in your situation. And this only applies to a stock flywheel. Do not use this method on an aluminum flywheel.

Tighten the bolts as much as you can with the torque wrench. And then with a breaker bar, get an extra bit of turn out of each bolt. Not the best method in the world, but given the situation, it will work.

Borrow the right tool. The damage this thing will do even if it gets just a little loose will cost you way more money than a torque wrench at sears that will go all the way. Tenkawa is correct also but I would still borrow or purchase the right tool.

yeah i share the sentiment. id use 110ftlbs if i had the tool. i think itd make it till the next clutch service. if i get it resurfaced the tech will slam it on with an impact wrench and never check it anyway. ill see if i can borrow one from my mechanic he lent me a tool once before.
