I have a 93 240sx FSM so i can only give you the values for the DOHC engine.

Tightening procedure:a. tighten all bolts to 22 ft/lbsb. tighten all bolts to 59 ft/lbsc. losen all bolts completelyd. tighten all bolts to 18-25 ft/lbse. tighten bolts to 55-62 ft/lbs

I dont know how the head bolts go on the SOHC but heres the tightening order for the DOHC (10 bolts in all)

9 - 3 - 1 - 6 - 8|7 - 5 - 2 - 4 - 10

basically you do the two middle ones, then you move over and do the next one and cross to its opposite

Thank you for the info p00t! I was tearing my hair out for that info! It'll be running tommorrow...:D

Oh also I had something bothering me, the camshaft. When you put everything back together and turn the key, will the camshaft adjust the valves automaticaly?

If the oil drained out of the lifters it will be noisy and sound like a desil truck.

Run the engine under no load for 10 minutes at 1,000 rpm, nothing feels as good as hearing that last one stop tapping!
