Torque for Altima intake manifold

Hi all,

I am ready to install my intake manifold. However, when i read the recommended torque for the bolts it seems the torque is quite small. The repair manual says to set torque at '12 to 14 ( Ft-lbs).

When I compare to torque for throttle body (this small round boxy looking thing), the repair manual puts it at 156 - 192 ( in-lbs ). ( Granted this is in in-lbs- but I don't even know if it makes a difference. )

Anyways, when I set torque wrench to 12 to 14 ft-lbs,assuming I'm setting torque wrench properly, and tighten the bolts, it just doesn't seem like they will hold properly. If anybody can clear the fog I'd appreciate it.
