I have a 280z and I'm replacing the auto transmission with another one. I'm trying to remove the torque converter's bolt but the engine turned everytime I tried to loosen the bolts. I know you can put a breaker bar on the crank pulley to prevent it but I have no room to get it in there since the engine is in the car and space in that area is very limited. Is there another way around this? The driveshaft is already out btw.

I cant remember but if the crank pulley has holes through it, place a screw driver through the hole to just under the pan lip and rotate the engine till it stops the pulley from turning then loosen you bolt. remove the screw driver and reinstall for each bolt location.
