Topper compatability, 97 King Cab?

I have a 97 Hardbody King Cab and am trying to find a used topper or fiberglass tonneau to fit it.

I measured my pickup bed at 59.5" x 76.25" (outer edge to outer edge), then went looking on Craigslist and ebay. All the ads all say stuff like "fits standard shortbox" or "came off an 02 Silverado", but nobody seems to put actual dimensions in their ads. I don't know much about comparative truck bed sizes - does anyone here know what other trucks have compatable size beds?

Aside from the long box the king cab and standard cab both had the same length boxes. Many other trucks from that era shared similar size beds but the best option is to contact the seller of the topper and ask for dimensions. If they want to sell the topper they will want to get you as much info as they can in my opinion. That's the most sure-fire way to make sure it fits before you buy it.

The closest thing will probably be a Yota topper if you cant find one off a HB. The 1/2 ton topper will most likely bee too wide or too long.

That said, I got a topper off another short box HB (1993) and the topper is about an inch too long on my rig(1986). The beds may have slightly changed over the years.
