Im am stationed in Okinawa Japan and im looking to find some part for my car. Im Driving a 1995 Skyline GTS25T. I have alot on it so far but im looking for a turbo upgrade im riding stock turbo but boosting 1.0. I have Boost Controler, soon to have front mount and plinam intake mainifold and I have replaced head gasket, full HKS exhaust no cat, HKS SSBO, blitz inkate oh and 300Z MAF twin turbo version. Cusco ligh weight Fly wheel and Super single clutch. Dynoed the car recently putting 324 RWHP with 346 RWTR. I know a turbo would help with power but i dont know which one to get im not looking for much power. I wan to get at least 450hp at the wheels. If you can help hit me up

I wouldn't run 1 bar on the stock turbo. It will break and blast tiny bits of ceramic wheel everywhere. My rb20det did exactly that.

I'm using an hks gt2530 and I'm really happy with it, but I think you will want something bigger for a rb25. I hear good things about the gt30r.

You should check out the RB section on this forum. I think there is a thread discussing which turbo for what power on what engine.

the cool thing that i found out is that the stock turbo on the RB25 is rated at 1.4 max boost but constant boost is 1.2 so i hope im safe with it im temped to get one of buddies T3 it is new but im nosure what the power ratin is on it for my car i know the stock manifold will support any turbo for the car i will have pic soon on here then you guys can tell me what you think

RB25DET at 1bar with bolt on's (no tuning) dyno's at 340whp??

I've been reading websites and finding out that stock R33GTST's dyno at 184-190whp. I guess 0.5 bar.

Maybe i should get an ebc and up the boost abit

You got that much using a stock computer? On whos dyno? Oh and there are a half of dozen car shops owned by americans. Just stop by any of them, there all nice ppl and can give you good advice and deals.

As you are going for an upgrade, high speeds usually causes an overheating of the engine which affect your car's performance. This is due to congestion and poor air circulation inside you hood which a jet chips cold air intake must be considered before you speed up.

Mine stock dynoed at 247rwhp at the wheels on a stock clutch with 235/40R 17" Toyo tirers.

With HKS exhaust (no cat), Blitz intake, HKS SSBOV, and TT 300Z MAF dynoed at 270rwhp with 255/40R 17" Toyo tirers.

Then dynoed at 324rwhp with Split fire Coils, # 8 NGK spark plugs, Cusco Super Single clutch, Cusco light weight flywheel, Nismo Short throw, AEM Light Weight Cam gears, SARD 480cc injectors, and meatel head gasket kit, and Greedy boost controler (boosting 1.1 with stock turbo) with 18" SSR 265/40R Toyo tirers.

Have you stoped by that place called S-Tec? They carry exhaust manifolds and out let pipes.

What dyno is this on? Half the stuff you listed you did to your car don't even improve HP. 340? No way. And your doing nothing but pushing hot air with the factory turbine over .8-.9 bar anyways. When I had FULL bolt ons with my 25 (including one of S-tec's tubular manifolds), I made 285hp with .7bar, and 253hp at .9 bar. Stock tune plus outflowing the turbine made crap for power. Felt faster, but it was slower. What are you using to tune?

Oh, and I just noticed those numbers where rear wheel hp. So you think your putting down close to 400hp at the flywheel with a fliter, boost controller, and half an exhaust? Not trying to sound mean man, there is just no way.

I now have a T04E P trim on my RB25 and I won't make 450hp to the wheels, even with that. I'm going T04R soon, that should get me there.

Ok I will break everything down on the car now and what has been added since

Full HKS Exhaust (no cat) (on when dynoed)

RSR Down pipe (which was on when i put the exhaust on)(on when dynoed)

SSBOV HKS on (when dynoed)

Blitz Air Intake (on when dynoed)

300Z TT maf (on when dynoed)

Cusco Lieght weight Fly wheel (on when dynoed)

Cusco Super Single Clutch (on when dynoed)

AEM cam gears (on when dynoed)

SARD 480cc injectors (on when dynoed) Meatel head gasket kit (on when dynoed)

Greedy boost controler (boosting 1.1 safely)(on when dynoed)

Nismo Short Throw(on when dynoed)

NGK #8 spark plugs(on when dynoed)

Splitfire coil ingnitaion system (on when dynoed)

FCON ECU from HKS (tuned during dyno cost $350)(on when dynoed)

Juts added

TD04 GReedy Turbo

GReedy Front Mount "Type V" Intercooler

I wouldn't boost the stock turbo that high. It won't last and unless you have a compressor map to show otherwise you are likely well out of the efficiency range of the turbo and just making more heat than anything else. If you want more than 300hp it's time for another turbo.

Full HKS Exhaust (no cat) (on when dynoed)----6-7hp

RSR Down pipe (which was on when i put the exhaust on)(on when dynoed)---- 4-5 hp

SSBOV HKS on (when dynoed)----no hp

Blitz Air Intake (on when dynoed)-----4-5hp

300Z TT maf (on when dynoed)----no hp

Cusco Lieght weight Fly wheel (on when dynoed)------no hp

Cusco Super Single Clutch (on when dynoed)------no hp

AEM cam gears (on when dynoed)-----if advanced/tuned, maybe 6-7hp top end

SARD 480cc injectors (on when dynoed)------no hp Meatel head gasket kit (on when dynoed)------if thicker than stock, lost hp (lower compression)

Greedy boost controler (boosting 1.1 safely)(on when dynoed)-----on a stock turbine, anything over .9 and your loosing more power than just .8

Nismo Short Throw(on when dynoed)-----no hp

NGK #8 spark plugs(on when dynoed)-----no hp unless something was wrong before

Splitfire coil ingnitaion system (on when dynoed)-----no hp unless something was wrong before

FCON ECU from HKS (tuned during dyno cost $350)(on when dynoed)-----a good tune on a stock set up (which is what you have) maybe 25-30hp AT THE MOST

Juts added

TD04 GReedy Turbo------need a lot more info (trim, A/R, etc)

GReedy Front Mount "Type V" Intercooler------a few hp, but it lets you go longer before getting heat soaked, and it cools quicker after it does soak.

Again man, I'm not trying to bust ba!!s but it's not possible for a stock turbine to make that much power. Like we asked before, WHICH DYNO WAS THIS ON? All dyno's on Oki are not accurate, but some are much worse than others. If you really want help, stop by Stec. I can PM you directions if you'd like. I just hope you are not 12 pretending you have a skyline and reading stats from a magazine. You sound pretty F&F with all those name brands for every single part though.

This is all starting to sound like BS to me. A TD04? I hope you meant two of those, that's like something you would bolt on a Suzuki. Post a dyno chart and the location it was done at or I am calling BS.
