they have both but the 4.36 are more rare so im assuming there 4.11's. Im to lazy to pull it out again and figure it out. but if any one knows the top speed for both that would be great to. Just curious cuz i redline 5th pretty fast, so i wanna know if im even goin that fast?

well this FD ratio of 4.11:1 isnt that far off from stock ratios (4.08), so i would imagine you would hit the limiter sooner than you would want to.

to give you some sort of idea, i have the 4.36 FD. around 80 MPH my car is already revving around 4.1-4.2K. With the 3.9 FD at the same speed i am at 3K RPM. there are too many variables because tire/wheel size plays a big role in FD and top speed.

Nissan doesnt make 4.11, there 4.083. R32 GTS-T used 4.363. R33 GTS-T used something in the high 3.xx's since the engine has more low end tq to cruise with. Easy way to tell what ratio you have is jack the back of the car up and rotate the front shaft of the diff. 1 Turn of the front of the diff should have the side shafts turn a little over 4 turns if its 4.08. Good calculator to use is http://www.f-body.org/gears/ .

actually you have to spin the larger of two gears to determine gear ratio. in this case you spin either output shaft until the pinion shaft has rotated once.

and there actually is a 4:11 gear ratio.

Thats exactly what i said, You turn the driveshaft one time for the wheels to rotate over 4 times. And your right, the R32 GTR uses a 4.111 R&P Front and Rear. Either way, its only a mph or so difference that 4.083.
