Just remember, sliding and drifting are not the same thing.

Since when was a 2.5 Altima CVT capable of doing over 120? the 3.5s with CVT are limited to 130 so I know the 2.5 won't be limited higher. Plus you would need a whole lot more road to get up to that speed to begin with.

over in united arab emirates they go up to 146 which i think is the max speed. i think anywhere out of the north american region, you will find an altima 2.5 with much more potential

Ran to 145 in my boys Scion tC against a MazdaSpeed Protege Turbo. We were on the I-95N and the car had more but the speed limiter kicked in. It was only at 4500 rpm and wanted more. Definitely could have hit 155+. The Protege kept going too, lol! After that is my 2000 Passat Turbo wagon that I hit 140 in on the LIE. That was with 3 other people in it too! To be young again.

the speedo in the STi only went to 160 and my friend that i passed in the chipped 335 had his pegged at 160 also but i would guess it was around 170ish given the rate that i went past him

145mph in my 1993 300ZX

90-ish mph in my 2010 Altima, while keeping up with an IS-F from a stand-still at a stop light.. a couple hours ago He took me in the beginning cuz of the V8 in that thing, and I didn't let him get more than a car length ahead all the way up to the max speed we did :D

Did 110 in my 09 Maxima. Wanted to check how far the CVT could pull. But then gave up; somehow I do not have as much faith in a CVT as in a conventional transmission. But the CVT did very well till 110mph and seemed capable of more. I was impressed.

I did upto 90mph in my 09 Altima 2.5SL.

I have driven my friends Murcielago to 181..... and that was around a big sweeping, gently banked turn. The car is unbelievably stable....... makes my 240 feel like driving a grain truck. The cool thing about that Murci is that you can go back and look at the trip computer and see top speed, g-force etc. There was no way I was going to look down at 180 to see how fast I was going..... not to mention I was driving a car that was worth a 1/4 of a million dollars.

My 240 I know I have gone at least 125, that's what it traps in the 1/4.
