top speed?

what is the top speed of the 98 maxima se? my bro is buying tires for his and was woundering so he can buy the proper rating, i was guessing its limited to a max 140mph, is that right?

I think that they are limited to 140 but I am not sure of what the top speed would be exactly without that. The ones on my Maxima are V rated.

143 is the supposed top speed...per the mags anyway, we all know how great they are at providing actual information.

I've had mine up to 140...
