dont mean to thread jack but the Top Speed headers I bought I'm not using. so I will be selling them. The reason being is in 2009 they started making changes to the altima, i assume it is to transition to 2010 model year changes. My car is one of those. The bracket off the transmission is in the opposite direction of previous models/years. So it wont work. I'll give someone a good deal if they want it. Quality is much better then Stillens and they are very nice/ uninstalled, I wish I could put them on. PM me with any ?'s an email and I'll send you pics. I'll move this if it isnt wanted but this thread is about them anyway :yesnod ? LMK..

Bought the exhaust after reading all the good reviews. got it and installed it in less than an hour. Fired it up didn't like the sound lol. removed the silencers... still didnt like it. Could just be because i have the 2.5 w/ intake and headers but the sound wasnt right for me. Took it to the shop had a resonator added and it sounded awesome! no annoying high pitched "ricer" tone from it. But then the angled tips look got old so i got new mufflers installed. Overall this exhaust sounds WAY better if a resonator is added. Perfect tone.

Thanks for the heads up, Sanosuke.

Wade that's great information, thanks for sharing. And you ARE talking about headers right?

Irving did yours not come with a resonator? I actually tried to remove mine but they've been welded on. Can you take a head on shot of your pipe opening? And show us your mufflers too. I'm thinking about changing my mufflers also.

yeah i have a few snaps of it on a post just put up. mine was straight piping from the cat back to the n1 tips no resonator came with it. leave the resonator on lol unless you wanna have the buuuaaaaaaaaa tone. extremely annoying.

Hey Alex,

I noticed that you have listed that you've got MDU coils. How much did they run you, and is it a specific kind that I can ask them about?

They cost $600 +/- $50. I bought mine for $600. This was before I heard of some people getting em for $550. I think $600 is the norm though. Just ask them for a g35/350z application. But you won't be able to use the MDU fronts. What I did was sell my BC rears and MDU fronts to a 350z owner, since they can use our rears.

I came across this exhaust on ebay and I'm definitely thinking of purchasing it. I've been wanting to complete my exhaust since I got my y-pipe (I have a 3.5) and I've just got a quick question: is the whole exhaust stainless steel? and do you see rust forming anywhere on it? Just wondering about the quality of it since it is pretty cheap and affordable...I don't want to purchase anything that will crap out on me, thanks!

Entirely stainless steel. I had to get custom piping after I messed mine up and I miss the stainless steel finish =/ Night and day difference

Sorry to hear that, but thanks so much! I'm curious as to how it will sound with the y-pipe, hopefully not ricey...

I know this is an old thread but has anyone ran the Top Speed header to see what performance it gets on the 2.5? Love that exhaust compared to Stillen.

How did you request those?

I've been using the Top Speed Pro One Cat Back Exhaust for a couple weeks. Now that it's been broken in, I can do a true review of the product.
Very cool review dude.
