Top Speed is the same as all the ebay manifolds. They have poor castings and need to be smoothed down before putting on the motor. I went with Greddy and i dont regret it.

i'm reviving another old thread but i was wondering.....on another forum i heard ppl say that these manifolds are not very streetable and dont provide the car w/ enough torque and make things like going up a hill dificult. is any of this true

The diffrence is not as dramatic as others claim. True there is a 10-15fl/lb loss in favor of a 10-15 hp gain but it does not cause you to have to rev an extra 1000 RPM more than you would before. A lot of the problems you hear about are due to the Top Speed manifolds not being a finished piece (I have seen sand from the castings in them!) and some people just silicone the gaskets and have boost leaks at the manifold. For an oil pan get the Top Speed and just clean it up but for the intake I personally would just get the GReddy piece and bite the bullet.

And once more

Is there an intake manifold that doesn't have that torque loss?

Yes. The stock manifold.

You're gonna find that most aftermarket manifolds will sac low end torque in favor of high end power. It's rare to find one that doesn't do so.

The reason being is that the intake runners are short. On a turbo car, this tends to make the torque curve spikier, while longer runners will flatten it out.

In the end, I tend to refer to the greddy style manifolds as dyno queen manifolds. Which is a bit unfair because the power they sac isn't a major blow, but I'm always looking for balance.

I think the best thing one could do is to extrude hone the stock intake manifold and clean up the casting.
