Has anyone had any experiences with this? I usually hear decent feedback on their intake manifolds, but never on their oil pans. Going to order an Oil Pan this week, but if I can save some money that would be great. If it's crap, then forget it though!

BTW, I Searched for about an hour, and found nothing.

I know this is useless to your question, but since it's dealing with someone buying an oil pan I thought it would be good to say something.

I purchased a "Greddy like" oil pan from eBay. Showed up quick and everything, just one problem. It had to spend 3 hours fixing cast problems. Two bolt holes had to be drilled out a little larger and the casting in some parts of the oil pan would leak. After 3 hours of testing, fixing, testing, etc the oil pan worked and still works fine.

I looked around the internet I cannot even find a "Top Speed" Oil Pan for an Sr. Can you post a link?

Yeah, that is why I am kinda "iffy" on this pan. I just don't know if it is a quality unit, or just a cheap crap knock-off.

Thats a Greddy knock-off. Also known as a "Freddy" oil pan. Dont buy it unless you want a part that doesnt fit right and leaks.

$160 bucks for that? Yeah right.

The previous owner of my car bought one and there was a flaw in the casting. It seal fine. I had to retap the drain plug. I also had to drill out one of the holes to get the last bolt in. Mine is going in the garbage once I get an ARC pan.

Well, I allready ordered my Greddy Oil Pan. Got it for 250 plus shipping from a more local place in the Bay Area. I warrant getting a large capacity oil pan for 2 reasons.

1. My stock one is all messed up. So I need a new one anyways.

2. Adds more oil capacity which is a huge bonus for an engine thats weak point is heat issues, and will be driven very very hard (I am building the car for "time attack"). I also plan on adding an oil cooler (with thermostat) and an oil filter relocation kit.

people, before deciding to get an aftermarket oil pan, esp. the GReddy, get an oil temperature gauge installed and working and decide if you really need it. i definitely won't be getting one because i read a great article on freshalloy that showed the oil temperature going down to like 140*F with the car moving at speed. i certainly don't want my oil that cold. i'd rather pick up oil capacity with a cooler w/ thermostat than with a pan that lets the oil get as cold as it likes. even in FL we have really cold days. just telling you guys to beware that this may drop your oil temperatures well below safe operating temps. for a racetrack car it won't get that cool, but for a street car, it will get cold when not being used hard.
