Hey Flybye and ALL:I've buired the needle at 150 within about 1.5 miles on a dead straight of Super Slab in my 93 J30t.I held 3rd gear up to 110, then manually kicked her in. 130 came right away, to 145 then 150 took some room, but got there. No misses, just me wondering if I was going to break the needle or have the sky fall on me. Gads, had it not been for that road sign out of El Paso that stated: "No gas--no exit--for next 17 miles."Dig it. I was 19 once again. But now I got a bearing going bad in the power steering, I think it is. I hope not water pump.My J30t has 142k original miles and I'm the 2nd owner. First guy didn't smoke, only drove in Dallas traffic and out to his cabin on the lake with only a few road trips, but he kept it clean with oil and good gasoline. 2 tune ups. That's it. I've had it almost 3 months now and I am about to take a rode trip for the Holidays. Yes, I have that much faith in this ole Infiniti.Drive on J-sters!Jasonsos
