Ok I swapped my convertible with a blacktop sr20det. The top functioned flawlessly but my speedo didnt. RPM tach, temp, gas level, all worked except for my speedo. I dug into the schematic and found that the yellow/black and yellow/lavender wires werent spliced together from 2 different connectors, once I connected them my speedo worked. Now my top doesnt work? Ive tried getting in to the schematic but I cant seem to find out why the buttons on the colomn aint doing s***.

So I tried to un splice the only 2 wires I messed with and the top still doesnt work. Im wondering if I may have blew a fuse, or while splicing I disturbed one of the other wires, geez its frustrating lol.. Almost tempted to buy a new harness from someone and send it to wiringspecialties lol

If anyone has had this experience or has heard of it, please help!

Look at the 5spd swap thread for the top jumpering. If its not that I'd check the fuses.
