well, with a larger turbo, a top mount is easier to access and work on, but will cost a bit more....

HKS Cast bottom-mount is an awesome piece. Well worth the $.

It is basically for turbo placement and fitment issues. Depends on what turbo/motor/chassis combination you're running. That's why you see so many different setups.

depends on the manifold and if you have room between the engine and the frame... also with a bottom mount you move the wieght of the turbo lower in the car...

cdorhout bought a GT3076R and he's having issues getting clearance between the stock manifold and the compressor housing. On top of that, the more he moves the turbo out, the closer his downpipe gets to the steering shaft. What it has come down to is inserting a machined 1/4" spacer flange on the manifold outlet/turbo inlet to get compressor clearance. He'll probably have to get a new downpipe made, but I haven't talked to him about it for a week or so.

Hey,How does a t3/t04e .60 ar comp fit on the stock Mani??

I know the T3/T04e .50 ar comp just fits perfectly, just has to be clocked correctly.
