Top Mount return line setup?

hey guys finally got my baby running, but im am quite worried that my silicone

hose i use for my return will melt into nothing. it hits the exhaust mani and

since it doesnt use oil pressure if it melts i wont even know from the oil

pressure gauge. any advice? ill shoot pics up tonight so u can see how it hits. anyone make a steel braided line for return?

If its touching the exhaust manifold it will burn through...

just go to your local racing parts store and pick up the supplies for a braided setup, or order it online. I think all the AN fittings and my feed and return lines were only 70 bucks. -4AN feed and -10AN return. well worth the money spent

I had the same issue when i ran a top mount on my civic... i used steel braided line with a heat wrap sleeve! Worked for the two years i had that setup with no problems!Summit has both

steel braided by itself will still melt. it might actually be worse because you cant see that the inside is melted. you need to use some fire sleeve over the steel braid, or fire sleeve over your existing soft line

ss return line is the way to go! wrap the exhaust manifold with exhaust wrap were its rubbing and the ss line

clock the turbo slightly so the line is no longer touching and go with a SS replacement line.
