alright im at that point where my turbo is about to kick the bucket. I've been searching threads about going topmount as my first option vs sticking with stock and paying high prices for new/used t28's.

i was looking into enjuki topmount kit simple log design since there are more options as far as turbo's i can select from. Just want some imputs from those who has this kit and are satisfied with it, any issues as far as clearences and fit.

thanks.

depends. what are your HP goals and what are you willing to spend? you don't just slap a not stock turbo on. you have to think about injectors, maf, cooling, a way to tune it, and a few other things.

I didn't know you had to tune for a new turbo? That is if you're already tunned for the bigger injectors and maf.

Yeah i understand the whole upgrades injectors, maf, tunning, oil lines etc.. my goals are within limits of the stock motor, realistically 3-350.. i don't want to spend $700-900 on a turbo that maxes out around 320, when i can piece together a simple setup that can yield more for alittle more even thoe it will have some lag. I'm not to concern about that since this is not a drift or auto-x car.

if i'm not mistaken a stock sr20 with boost up to 14psi should yield 250ish without any upgrades besides bolt ons and maybe safc, so i figure as long as im in the same power range with 7psi+/- with a topmount setup t3/4 i should not have to upgrade injectors or maf.

basically i'm trying to plan ahead just incase i want more. I still consider myself a newbie to sr's but not to boost since my last 2 cars were turbo.

so any feed backs on top mount set-ups would be a great help.
