so I plan on going with a larger 57 trim turbo on a top mount manifold and running an external gate but I keep hearing horror stories about weak welds on the stainless so I have thought about going with a cast setup

so let me get some things strait before I decide which one I should go with, like why I have yet to see or hear of anyone using the cast top mount if the stainless is so apt to crack?

personaly what concerns me about picking the cast over the stainless other then the aestheic appeal that it rusts is the fact that the stainless model Im looking at appears to be an equal length setup where as the cast isnt. But does this mean that there will be more exhaust gas turbulance in the unequal setup essentialy leading to poorer performance & even loss in hp?

pros & cons of both would be helpful

I bought a stainless tomei header and had it high temperature ceramic coated which should improve the durability of the header. I would keep your iron manifold just in case.
